The artist's face was found high on the wall in the fresco.

In the morning we explored Mantova and saw the Duomo and Cathedral.  We also saw the Ducal Palace and the Teatro Bibiena.  We then departed for Verona where we had a walking tour.  One of the highlights of the day was attending a performance of Nabucco at the Verona Opera.

Teatro Bibiena.  Mozart performed on this very stage when he was young!  The choir had an impromptu performance at the Teatro!
